As Seen In

You're home, what now?
- It is normal to feel a little nervous when bringing home a new baby. You aren't supposed to have all the answers or know exactly what you're doing. As your postpartum doula I am there to help you. Maybe you need a shower, a nap, lunch or all three! I can help with light housekeeping, entertaining your toddler or just listening to you. I’m there to help with breastfeeding, diaper changes, bathing and newborn care. I can teach you how to wear your baby and how to use all those gadgets you’ve never known you needed. I bring experience, professionalism and knowledge so you can relax and just enjoy your baby.
What I offer...
Overnight Support
I offer overnight support for local families. With a minimum of 8 hours, I will come to your house at 10:00 pm and help care for your newborn overnight, while you catch up on some much needed sleep. If you are breast-feeding I will bring the baby to you for feedings then change them and get them back down so you can drift off back to sleep. If bottle feeding I will care for and feed baby while you sleep. I can also fold laundry, wash and sterilize bottles and pump parts and make sure everything is ready for you in the morning. $550 per night
Daytime Support
I am also available for daytime support. Everyone wants to hold the baby, but who holds the parents? As a postpartum doula, I am there to support parents while they rest and recover. I offer breastfeeding support, sibling help, baby laundry, light tidying up, local referrals and newborn care and education. Upon arrival I ask my clients what they need that day, sometimes it’s a nap or shower, often it’s just someone to talk to. I am there to support you in any way I can. I have a 4 hour minimum and schedule clients between 8 am and 1 pm due to my own children’s schedules. $55 per hour

Client Success Stories
Mariah is a dream postpartum doula. She is meticulous, thoughtful, caring, attentive to every detail, flexible, comforting, and a godsend for new moms, dads and babies. As a first time mom, Mariah made navigating the first few weeks of parenthood for both me and my husband an experience memorable, delightful and super productive. Mariah combines providing comfort to new parents and the baby with imparting necessary skills and knowledge that equips parents to take charge of their new journeys. Mariah goes above and beyond the call for duty; she is extremely professional but always keeps the human touch, animated, and radiant. My baby felt happy, secure and at peace with Mariah during his first six weeks of life. What I most appreciated about the care and support Mariah provided our family is that in addition to caring for my baby, she especially made strides and efforts to be there for me as a mother with things small and big. That made my first weeks in the new role of motherhood so much smoother and happier. Mariah is also a great pre-partum doula. My husband and I learnt a lot about hands-on skills and what to expect after the baby’s arrival in an excellent online class on newborn care that Mariah kindly offered us. All in all, if there ever was such a thing as super duper doula, Mariah is that!”

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I need to add more postpartum weeks?
I am happy to add more hours if I don’t have another commitment at the end of our contract.
What will I do without you?
My job is to work myself out of a job so when our time together is over you should feel confident and ready to do it on your own. You can always schedule an Ask Me Anything call if you still need some guidance.
Do you do full days as a postpartum doula?
Yes! I have a minimum of 4 hours per shift, but I am happy to schedule you for longer if I have the availability.
When is the best time to use a doula?
The first couple of weeks with a postpartum doula can be the most beneficial. The first few days after coming home can be overwhelming and exhausting, it is nice to have another set of hands to help settle everyone in.

Wouldn’t it be great to bring your newborn home and have an expert in infant care meet you at the door? Someone to help you get settled in, who knows what to suggest for sore body parts, who can offer breastfeeding support and knows who to call if extra help is needed. Someone who can comfort the baby so that you can shower, eat or rest. Someone who can help with your older children while you bond with your newest addition, or make you lunch while you feed the baby. I am there to provide unbiased support for your whole family.
